What treatment can I expect to receive?
Your Reflexology session will start with a detailed consultation to understand your health history, diet, and lifestyle.
This helps determine the specific areas of your feet to focus on and the number of sessions needed. You will then relax on a massage bed, with your head position adjusted for comfort, as tea tree oil and lotion are applied to your feet. I will use mild to moderate pressure on various points on each foot, covering all areas for comprehensive treatment.
During the session, you may feel deeply relaxed, sometimes even falling asleep. Many clients report feeling calmer and sleeping better after treatment. Post-treatment advice includes drinking plenty of fluids and avoiding alcohol for the next 24 hours. To maximize the benefits, I may also suggest working on pressure points on your hands between sessions that also correspond to different parts of the body.
How many treatments should I have?
The number of Reflexology treatments required depends on your specific needs and goals and will be individual to you based on our initial assessment.
Typically, for targeted relief, we recommend six sessions spaced a week or two apart. These sessions provide consistent support to help manage symptoms and promote overall well-being. However, if regular sessions are not feasible, monthly treatments can still offer significant benefits and help maintain the progress achieved.
For those seeking occasional relief or a complementary boost to other ongoing treatments, single sessions can also be effective. Each plan is personalised to ensure you get the maximum benefit from Reflexology, and we will regularly review and adjust the plan based on your progress and feedback.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body.
This targeted pressure can promote Relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. While Reflexology does not claim to cure medical conditions, it serves as a complementary treatment that can help manage symptoms such as pain and fatigue, improving your quality of life.
